The moment that launched Kevin Harvick into NASCAR® superstardom took place on March 11, 2001. Just weeks after taking over the NASCAR Cup Series® ride at Richard Childress Racing under tragic circumstances, Harvick wheeled his No. 29 car to Victory Lane at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
That day did more than just etch Harvick’s name into the NASCAR Cup Series® record books and begin his path towards being considered a legend of the sport. It helped a reeling NASCAR® community and provided one of the most emotion-filled scenes that the industry had ever seen.
For his final NASCAR® All-Star Race in 2023, Harvick will turn back the clock to that historic day in 2001 with a special No. 29 race car. This time, his Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang will forego its usual No. 4 and be taken back in time, with full support of Richard Childress Racing and SHR team partner Busch® Light beer, for the No. 29 and the white-and-red livery that Harvick wheeled to victory in Atlanta.
Now, Lionel Racing, the Official Die-cast of NASCAR®, is excited to make the replica die-cast of Harvick’s No. 29 Busch Light Ford Mustang available for order. Built on Lionel Racing’s latest Ford tool, each 1:24-scale car is offered in two different trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE die-cast that is built with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE version also features a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal authentic undercarriage detail. Plus, each die-cast boasts lifelike touches like rolling Goodyear tires, a working suspension, hand-applied decals, and more. A 1:24-scale Color Chrome-plated die-cast and a 1:64-scale model are also on offer.
This memorable Harvick die-cast will be produced in limited quantities, so don’t wait. Place your order now!
