In 2000, Tony Stewart was still in the early stages of his legendary NASCAR® career when he returned to his open wheel roots and won two of USAC’s crown jewel events – the Copper World Classic at Phoenix and the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Irwindale. In both races, Stewart drove a white Midget that was accented with flames to Victory Lane.
That famed livery that Stewart won those races with in 2000 will return to the track in the form of Chase Briscoe’s No. 14 Mahindra Tractors Ford Mustang at Darlington Raceway. Briscoe’s ride will turn back the clock to the ride that his Stewart-Haas Racing team owner drove to open-wheeled success 23 years earlier.
Fans of both Stewart and Briscoe can now add the official Lionel Racing die-cast of the No. 14 Mahindra Tractors Throwback Ford Mustang to their collections. Built on the Next Gen Ford tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two different trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model as well as a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE also features a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a detailed undercarriage. Each die-cast replica also features realistic touches like retro Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, hand-placed decals, and more. A 1:64-scale model is also on offer.
This throwback die-cast will be produced as part of a limited run, so don’t delay. Place your order now!
