Stewart-Haas Racing driver Cole Custer will turn back the clock and pay tribute to his childhood hero, multi-faceted motorsports star, the late Jason Leffler, in the 2022 Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.
Custer’s No. 41 HaasTooling.com Ford Mustang will be outfitted in a retro livery that resembles one that Leffler, a star of both dirt and pavement racing, drove in the series now known as the NASCAR Xfinity Series®. With this paint scheme, Leffler brought Haas CNC Racing – the precursor to the modern-day Stewart-Haas Racing – its first NASCAR® victory in 2004.
Now the official Lionel Racing die-cast of Custer’s No. 41 HaasTooling.com Throwback Ford Mustang is available to order. Produced on Lionel Racing’s all new Next Gen tool, each 1:24-scale replica is offered in two different trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk and a removable underwing that reveals authentic undercarriage detail. Each die-cast also features rolling Goodyear tires, working suspension, window net, and more. A plated 1:24-scale version as well as an all-new 1:64-scale model are also on offer.
This throwback die-cast will be built in limited quantities, so do not wait. Order now!
